I once went to a nail salon for my 14th birthday and just wanted my hands done, painted red. The woman cut my cuticle, was super rude to me, rolled her eyes at me when I said thank you, and I used my birthday money to tip her a 20 because I saw she had her kids as her back ground photo. She also called me ugly n shit in Korean, little did she know my family is Korean and I could understand. Never got another pedicure again. Feels like a dick to complain so I didn’t, but just because you hate your job doesn’t mean you need to take it out on a 14 year old

I was getting my nails done with my mom at the salon we usually go to and the lady who was doing my nails cut my cuticle and i flinched cuz it stung and it also hurt and the lady looked at my cuticle and said "i told u not to move ur hand" when i didn't even move my hand. she wiped it off and literally an hour later it was still bleeding 😭, my mom was pissed. The lady wgi was doing my moms nails ended up finishing my nails and she was much nicer and gentle

One time i had an unknown virus that caused me to be sick for a whole month and my mom told the doctor she had experienced mono and it was sort of like the effects of mono (but i didn't share drinks or kiss anyone) and the doctor immediately said "yep it sounds like mono you have mono" 💀mono, covid, flu and strep all came back negative, they gave me an iv and i was completely fine that same day Turns out i was just dehydrated

A nail salon tech once CLIPPED OFF PART OF MY NAIL BED when trying to remove my old nails. And she continued on like nothing happened while my finger was bleeding. I wasn’t going to do my nails but the owner convinced me since I was going on a trip. Mind you, I understand the process so I make sure to not move while they do their thing so I told her, I’m not getting my nails redone and asked her to stop. Y’all, my nails were DESTROYED. She clipped so close to the nail bed, my fingertips were sore. I left a bad review (I hardly ever leave bad reviews) with photos and I am never going back there. They have enough business anyway.

This is why I don't get my nails done anymore. Too many rude people and too much gaslighting. This man was giving me the ring of fire with his dremel going in on my nail bed. When I tanked back and said it hurt, he put water on it and said that it didn't actually hurt. The nail was killing me afterward. He then proceeds to charge me extra for adding tips I didn't ask for and tells me to come back and ask for him. Sir, no.

One day I felt really sick and my mom took me to urgent care and the person there didn't believe me so they made me jump up and down and they said I'm fine but then I threw up and I had to go to the hospital and get an IV
